Iryna Danyliv was born on July 11, 1960 in the family of the artsist Zenoviy Flinta. She spenther chiledhood in artistic environment. In 1979 she graduated from the Lviv School of Applied Art named after Ivan Trush and in 1984 - from the Lviv Institute of Decorative and Applied Art. At present she is on the staff of the chair of Decorative Textile at the Lviv Colledge of Decorative and Applied Arts.
In 1985 participated in the exhibition of mini-tapestry in Lviv.
 This was followed by numerous other exhibitions, regional, national and international. The artist worksin the sphere of tapestry and batik, carries on experimental search in three-dementional spatial compositions, enriches her works with various manners of execution. Her works are characterized by refined composition, picrotiallyricism, richness of associations and ornamental design.
Since 1997 Iryna Danyliv is a Member of the Artist' Union of Ukraine.
