Volodymyr Ivanyshyn was born on 24 March, 1952 in the village of Vapnyarka, Vinnytsya District, of a carpenter's family. Graduated Kyiv Industrial Art School (1971) and Lviv state institute of decorative and applied art, department of interior and furniture design (1980). Specializing in wood decorative sculpture. Participated in International and Ukrainian group exhibitions.
