Volodymyr Stasenko born 13 February 1972 in Lviv.
Education: Lviv Decorative and Applied Art College named after Iv.Trush, speciality - interieur designer; the Ukrainian Academy of Printing in Lviv, speciality - graphic art.
At present I work as a teacher at the chair of graphics at this institute.I have classes of graphics, drawing and computer design. I am interested in easel - painting and study of art. I took part in some local Ukrainian and International conferences devoted to the problems of Art and Applied Art.
I am the partisipants of exhibitions in Ukraine and other countries from 1990. Member of the Artists' Union of Ukraine.
Personal exhibitions: Lviv-1990, Freiburg(Germany)-1993, Krakau(Poland)-1994, Lviv-1997.
In easel painting I try to study and represent different kinds of the state of human soul, of people's characters, their emotions: love, joy, loneliness, sorrows, hope. For me even still- life is something alive and the buildings in the city-scapes impress me like real creatures.
In my pictures, scetches and art studies I am not trying to surprise people with something extravagant and unexpected, I don't make real life more complicated. I don't construct the wordl of my images, I just live in it, reveal it for everybody without imposing my views, opinions and tastes on other people.
